5d3851530d 9p: Reduce object size with CONFIG_NET_9P_DEBUG
Reduce object size by deduplicating formats.

Use vsprintf extension %pV.
Rename P9_DPRINTK uses to p9_debug, align arguments.
Add function for _p9_debug and macro to add __func__.
Add missing "\n"s to p9_debug uses.
Remove embedded function names as p9_debug adds it.
Remove P9_EPRINTK macro and convert use to pr_<level>.
Add and use pr_fmt and pr_<level>.

a0ea787b02 fs/9p: check schedule_timeout_interruptible return value
In v9fs_file_do_lock() we need to check return value of
schedule_timeout_interruptible() and exit the loop when it
returns nonzero, otherwise the loop is not really interruptible
and after the signal, the loop is no longer throttled by
P9_LOCK_TIMEOUT.

bf118a342f NFSv4: include bitmap in nfsv4 get acl data
The NFSv4 bitmap size is unbounded: a server can return an arbitrary
sized bitmap in an FATTR4_WORD0_ACL request. Replace using the
nfs4_fattr_bitmap_maxsz as a guess to the maximum bitmask returned by a server
with the inclusion of the bitmap (xdr length plus bitmasks) and the acl data
xdr length to the (cached) acl page data.

This is a general solution to commit e5012d1f "NFSv4.1: update
nfs4_fattr_bitmap_maxsz" and fixes hitting a BUG_ON in xdr_shrink_bufhead
when getting ACLs.

Fix a bug in decode_getacl that returned -EINVAL on ACLs > page when getxattr
was called with a NULL buffer, preventing ACL > PAGE_SIZE from being retrieved.

8a0d551a59 nfs: fix regression in handling of context= option in NFSv4
Setting the security context of a NFSv4 mount via the context= mount
option is currently broken. The NFSv4 codepath allocates a parsed
options struct, and then parses the mount options to fill it. It
eventually calls nfs4_remote_mount which calls security_init_mnt_opts.
That clobbers the lsm_opts struct that was populated earlier. This bug
also looks like it causes a small memory leak on each v4 mount where
context= is used.

Fix this by moving the initialization of the lsm_opts into
nfs_alloc_parsed_mount_data. Also, add a destructor for
nfs_parsed_mount_data to make it easier to free all of the allocations
hanging off of it, and to ensure that the security_free_mnt_opts is
called whenever security_init_mnt_opts is.

I believe this regression was introduced quite some time ago, probably
by commit c02d7adf.

2edb6bc385 NFS - fix recent breakage to NFS error handling.
From c6d615d2b97fe305cbf123a8751ced859dca1d5e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001
From: NeilBrown <neilb@suse.de>
Date: Wed, 16 Nov 2011 09:39:05 +1100
Subject: [PATCH] NFS - fix recent breakage to NFS error handling.

commit 02c24a8218 made a small and
presumably unintended change to write error handling in NFS.

Previously an error from filemap_write_and_wait_range would only be of
interest if nfs_file_fsync did not return an error. After this commit,
an error from filemap_write_and_wait_range would mean that (the rest of)
nfs_file_fsync would not even be called.

This means that:
1/ you are more likely to see EIO than e.g. EDQUOT or ENOSPC.
2/ NFS_CONTEXT_ERROR_WRITE remains set for longer so more writes are
    synchronous.

This patch restores previous behaviour.

43717c7dae NFS: Retry mounting NFSROOT
Lukas Razik <linux@razik.name> reports that on his SPARC system,
booting with an NFS root file system stopped working after commit
56463e50 "NFS: Use super.c for NFSROOT mount option parsing."

We found that the network switch to which Lukas' client was attached
was delaying access to the LAN after the client's NIC driver reported
that its link was up. The delay was longer than the timeouts used in
the NFS client during mounting.

NFSROOT worked for Lukas before commit 56463e50 because in those
kernels, the client's first operation was an rpcbind request to
determine which port the NFS server was listening on. When that
request failed after a long timeout, the client simply selected the
default NFS port (2049). By that time the switch was allowing access
to the LAN, and the mount succeeded.

Neither of these client behaviors is desirable, so reverting 56463e50
is really not a choice. Instead, introduce a mechanism that retries
the NFSROOT mount request several times. This is the same tactic that
normal user space NFS mounts employ to overcome server and network
delays.

09b4ea47d1 drm: make DRM_UNLOCKED ioctls with their own mutex
drm_getclient, drm_getstats and drm_getmap (with a few minor
adjustments) do not need global mutex, so fix that and
make the said ioctls DRM_UNLOCKED. Details:

drm_getclient: the only thing that should be protected here
is dev->filelist and that is already protected everywhere with
  dev->struct_mutex.

drm_getstats: there is no need for any mutex here because the
loop runs through quasi-static (set at load time only)
data, and the actual count access is done with atomic_read()

drm_getmap already uses dev->struct_mutex to protect
dev->maplist, which also used to protect the same structure
everywhere else except at three places:
  * drm_getsarea, which doesn't grab *any* mutex before
    touching dev->maplist (so no drm_global_mutex doesn't help
here either; different issue for a different patch).
However, drivers seem to call it only at
initialization time so it probably doesn't matter
  * drm_master_destroy, which is called from drm_master_put,
which in turn is protected with dev->struct_mutex
everywhere else in drm module, so we are good here too.
  * drm_getsareactx, which releases the dev->struct_mutex
too early, but this patch includes the fix for that.

v2: * incorporate comments received from Daniel Vetter
    * include the (long) explanation above to make it clear what
we are doing (and why), also at Daniel Vetter's request
    * tighten up mutex grab/release locations to only
encompass real critical sections, rather than some
      random code around them

f88b8979d2 ARM: restart: remove the now empty arch_reset()
Remove the now empty arch_reset() from all the mach/system.h includes,
and remove its callsite. Remove arm_machine_restart() as this function
no longer does anything useful.

For samsung platforms, remove the include of mach/system-reset.h and
plat/system-reset.h from their respective mach/system.h headers as these
just define their arch_reset functions. As a result, the s3c2410 and
plat-samsung system-reset.h files are no longer referenced, so remove
these files entirely.

5e3aa527c3 ARM: restart: remove comments about adding code to arch_reset()
arch_reset() is deprecated; systems should hook into system restart via
the 'restart' method in the platforms machine description record.

e6849374f3 ARM: restart: lpc32xx & u300: remove unnecessary printk
Remove the:
	KERN_CRIT "RESET: Rebooting system\n" (lpc32xx)
	KERN_CRIT "RESET: shutting down/rebooting system\n" (u300)

printk from the restart handler; we already print such a message from
kernel_restart() in kernel/sys.c:

	KERN_EMERG "Restarting system.\n"

so this is unnecessary.

d9eedaf329 ARM: restart: plat-samsung: remove plat/reset.h and s5p_reset_hook
Now that s5p_reset_hook is unused, we can get rid of plat/reset.h and
the s5p_reset_hook code in plat/system-reset.h.
