There is a possibility of PMI detecting SDP as a floating charger
when connected to a PC. Workaround this issue by starting peripheral
stack for floating charger as well. After 10 sec check for USB device
enumeration using gadget USB state. If device is indeed connected to
SDP gadget usb state will be USB_STATE_DEFAULT or higher. This change
also helps to start peripheral stack in super speed usb compliance mode
when D+ and D- lines are floating.

%p will leak kernel pointers, so let's not expose the information on
dmesg and instead use %pK. %pK will only show the actual addresses if
explicitly enabled under /proc/sys/kernel/kptr_restrict.

xHCI specs revision 1.1 mentions that if Compliance Transition
Capability (CTC) flag is set, then xHC supports software control
of the transition to Compliance mode. For this, we need to write
a value of 10 to Port Link State(PLS) field of PORTSC register
during dwc3_otg_start_host time after the xhci platform device
has been added. Then the link transitions to compliance state
on detection of first LFPS timeout.
Steps to enable compliance transition:
1. Do not connect host cable
2. echo y > /sys/devices/soc/a800000.ssusb/xhci_link_compliance
3. Connect host cable with breakout fixture and start testing
Steps to disable compliance transition:
1. Disconnect the host cable
2. echo n > /sys/devices/soc/a800000.ssusb/xhci_link_compliance
3. Connect host cable

Extcon is required by the USB controller to switch between
host and peripheral modes using BSV and ID events. If the
DT node of a particular controller does not have 'extcon'
property set but the mode is set to host only using
dr_mode = "host", then we do not fail the probe and
bring up the controller in host mode.
Add another case to the probe that when extcon prop is not
set and the controller mode is set to DRD, then bring up
the device in host mode. User can always change the mode
using sysfs.

Currently driver is scheduling pm_qos_work again even though
pm_qos_latency is not passed from dts file. Add a check for
pm_qos_latency and don't schedule work if pm_qos_latency value
is zero. Also remove use of static variable for last_irq_count and
add the variable for the same in dwc3 structure for the case where
multi DWC3 usages are used.

Add POWER_SUPPLY_PROP_REAL_TYPE property for usb_psy to present its real
charger type. POWER_SUPPLY_PROP_TYPE in usb_psy is always set to
POWER_SUPPLY_TYPE_USB_PD for healthd to recognize it as an AC charger.
Also add usb_port_psy with POWER_SUPPLY_TYPE_USB type is added for healthd
to recognize it as an USB host. Their ONLINE properties will be updated
according to the VBUS status, type-c mode and real charger type.
With this type being set statically, update the usb phy and pd policy
engine code to look at real type.

If __dwc3_msm_ep_queue() fails, then req_complete is freed
but it is not being removed from mdwc->request_list. This
may result into list_add corruption issue on next USB cable
connect when USB endless request is queued. Fix this issue
by deleting req_complete from mdwc->req_complete_list.

In the case of bounced ep0 requests, we must delay DMA operation until
after ->complete() otherwise we might overwrite contents of req->buf.
This caused problems with RNDIS gadget.

Latency involved in handling dwc3 interrupt in real time threaded
interrupt is sometimes resulting into RT throttling. Hence queue
bottom half work from dwc3 hard irq handler to a high priority
workqueue. Also, update the corresponding irq flag in host
controller platform driver.

This is a workaround for STAR 9000961433 which affects only version
3.00a of the DWC_usb3 core. This prevents the controller interrupt from
being masked while handling events. Enabling interrupt moderation allows
us to work around this issue because once the GEVNTCOUNT.count is
written the IRQ is immediately deasserted and won't be asserted again
until GEVNTCOUNT.EHB is cleared.

Implement interrupt moderation which allows the interrupt rate to be
throttled. To enable this feature the dwc->imod_interval must be set to
1 or greater. This value specifies the minimum inter-interrupt interval,
in 250 ns increments. A value of 0 disables interrupt moderation.
This applies for DWC_usb3 version 3.00a and higher and for DWC_usb31
version 1.20a and higher.

Now that all the infrastructure is in place, we can
clear events in the top-half handler in order to
bring IRQ line low ASAP.
This is also a necessary step in order to implement
workaround for known erratum in follow-up patches.

Some gadget drivers are bad, bad boys. We notice
that ADB was passing bad Burst Size which caused top
bits of param0 to be overwritten which confused DWC3
when running this command.
In order to avoid future issues, we're going to make
sure values passed by macros are always safe for the
controller. Note that ADB still needs a fix to *not*
pass bad values.

Endpoint command to request resources on ep0 is take upto ~800us and
this delay is observed for every new/re enumeration. As the api polls
(reads the register and it happens over cnoc) for every 1us to check
for completion it could result in congestion on cnoc. Hence increase
polling interval from 1us to 20us for this endpoint command.

Variable "ubuf " and "buf" may point to kernel address, a malicious
user could use code logic to get kernel information. Use
kstrtou8_from_user() which take care of copying buffer, and finding
u8 value here.

highest possible LPM NYET threshold value is 0xf
because LPM_NYET_THRES uses 4 bits in DWC_USB3_DCTL
register. Value is incorrectly written as 0xff which
is overriding the value of other register bits.

commit 1eec2157d8 ("usb: dwc3: Update core clock rate based on
USB port speed.") only sets clk rate for HS/FS/LS device add notification.
In case super speed device is plugged in after LS/FS/HS device unplug in
absence of runtime suspend, core clk rate remains at high speed core clk
rate. Fix this issue by setting the core clk rate back to default when
a device is being removed from root hub.

XHCI allows interrupt moderation using imod_interval at 250ns
increments. Add DT parameter to specify this imod_value for
targets mainly with single CPU to reduce CPU interrupt loads.
This allows better balance between CPU usage and performance.

In some cases it is useful to manually force the controller to
run at certain speeds (USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 speeds). For example,
EUD (Emebedded USB Debug) can only work when controller is
operating in USB 2.0 speeds. User can force USB 2.0 if EUD is
required.

When device controller gets an LPM request from the host during a
control transfer, it is not able to initiate remote wakeup
automatically. As a result it accepts the request, goes to L1 state,
and does not initiate wakeup to exit L1 state. Since host expects
the device to do a remote wakeup from L1 state and the device does
not initiate the wakeup, the host continues to wait and starts
enumeration again because control transfer timeout occurs. Fix this
issue by initiating remote wakeup before queuing the ep0 request
if bus is in L1 suspend state. Also add a counter which gets
incremented upon device sending remote wakeup before queuing ep0
request.

During U1 exit, the controller might send LFPS ping at the same
time when the P1 to P0 transition occurs(GUSB3PIPECTL[27] = '0').
The de-assertion of the pipe_TxElecIdle signal during the
pipe_PowerDown signal transition violates the PIPE specification.
Fix this by setting GUSB3PIPECTL[27] = '1' so that there is no
pipe_PowerDown transition during U1 exit. This fix is applicable
for DWC3 revision 3.10 or older.

Maximum hardware supported speed flag limits the maximum speed
of the usb controller to high or super. Adding this additional
flag as maximum_speed flag can be changed from different sources
such as power delivery stack.

Reset and initiate controller and phy low power mode to bring them to
known good state during boot up. This will avoid any leakage and makes
sure that DP/DM lines are in high-z state.

Core clock rate can be reduced or increased based on operating
speeds. Controller starts in Super Speed mode (higher core clock
rate) and it will operate in super or high or full or low speed
upon device connection. Update the core clock rate based on bus
speed to allows system to operate in better low power state (such
as SVS1/SVS2 based on system configuration). High Speed rate for
core clock is programmed from dtsi. Super Speed rate will be used
if High speed core clock rate is not provided for backward
compatibility.

Speed is not notified in case of platforms having micro USB connector
instead of USB type C connector. In this case, set speed as High speed
only as by default only high speed is supported over micro USB ports.

Let's call dwc3_ep0_prepare_one_trb() explicitly
because there are occasions where we will need more
than one TRB to handle an EP0 transfer.
A follow-up patch will fix one bug related to
multiple-TRB Data Phases when it comes to
mapping/unmapping requests for DMA.

commit 0416e494ce ("usb: dwc3: ep0: correct cache
sync issue in case of ep0_bounced") introduced a bug
where we would leak DMA resources which would cause
us to starve the system of them resulting in failing
DMA transfers.
Fix the bug by making sure that we always unmap EP0
requests since those are *always* mapped.
