Mark CPR bank registers as volatile so that
writes to these registers get updated correctly
in hardware.

MBHC mechanical detection, electrical detection and micbias
registers are not getting updated in hardware after subsystem
restart results in no IRQ during headset plug insertion.
Set these MBHC registers to volatile for headset plug
detection to work properly.

This reverts commit 9d6fd2c3e9 ("Merge remote-tracking branch

dump parsing tools due to kernel can be loaded anywhere in the memory
now and not fixed at linear mapping.

The interrupt coming to smb1381 and other i2c pmic's could be shared

WCD9XXX irq driver uses device tree APIs in the
IRQ handler. Device tree APIs disable interrupts
for the duration of their execution. Do not use
these APIs in the wcd9xxx irq handler to reduce
the interrupt off (irqsoff) latency.

Some of the CPE (Codec Processing Engine) registers in wcd934x audio
codec are read-write registers with only few bits that are read-only.
Add change to mark such registers as volatile to avoid reading stale
value from cache for the read-only bits.

In wcd core drivers, some pointers are not set as NULL
after the memory is freed, which will leave many
dangling pointers. Set them to NULL explicitly to
avoid potential risk.

DMIC clock on ECPP(Echo Cancellation Ping-Pong) path can be set to
lower clock rate to avoid power consumption. Change configures the
DMIC clock rate on ECPP path based on device tree settings.

Currently only read-only registers are marked as volatile. It is
possible that some registers could be read-write and still have
subset of the bits that are updated by the hardware. Add change
to mark such CPE (codec processing engine) register as volatile.

Registers for page 0x50 in the wcd934x audio codec are currently
not defined. These registers control WCD DSP register configuration
and setup. Add these register definitions so that codec driver can
read/write these registers.

This reverts commit 96913bef9307 ("drivers: mfd: Return EPROBE_DEFER during
codec failure"). If target can support multiple codecs,
one of the codec enumerates. When other codec fails to enumerate,
donot return -EPROBE_DEFER otherwise probe is triggered again
which is cleaning common resources and hence enumerated
codec is going to bad state.

codecs will be enumerated. Do not clean up common resources

Some MFD PMIC configurations do not support interrupts. Make the interrupt
controller optional to support these PMIC configrations.
Without an interrupt controller this driver simply passes a regmap to
its children.

During SSR, wcd9xxx_res irq lock is destroyed as part of resource
cleanup. If driver tries to access wcd9xxx_res irq lock before it's
initialized, it could cause crash. Check if wcd9xxx_res irq is 0
before using it to avoid crash.

The I2C PMIC Controller is used by multi-function PMIC devices which
communicate over the I2C bus. The controller enumerates all child nodes
as platform devices, and instantiates a regmap interface for them to
communicate over the I2C bus.
The controller also controls interrupts for all of the children platform
devices. The controller handles the summary interrupt by deciphering which
peripheral triggered the interrupt, and which of the peripheral interrupts
were triggered. Finally, it calls the interrupt handlers for each of the
virtual interrupts that were registered.

Switch to swap ground and mic headset poles is controlled by a
GPIO on the Apps processor instead of the PMIC, and therefore
software logic must change to use pinctrl APIs

call to intel_lpss_unregister_clock() on error path in ->probe() to fix the

WCD and WSA codecs uses MSM gpios that are accessed through pinctrl
mechanism. Codec reset gpios need to be configured before master
controller is initialized otherwise codec cannot be enumerated
on the bus. Add a new platform device driver to update reset gpio
configuration to valid state before bus initialization.

In case of any codec access failure, return -EPROBE_DEFER
so that slimbus driver can probe the codec again
to toggle codec reset and retry codec access.

RCO calibration codec registers are read only and they can
be modified at any time during codec operation. Mark them as
volatile so that reads to these registers always happen from
hardware instead of cache.

Codec reset gpio configuration needs to be updated
before slimbus master component is initialized otherwise
codec cannot be enumerated on the bus. Add a new platform
device driver to update the codec reset gpio configuration
to valid state (output, drive-strength) before slimbus
is initialized.

i2c doesn't support bulk read and write. Enable the single read and write
option in regmap configuration for audio codec to operate correctly in

During ADSP subsystem restart, all slimbus read/write would fail
as the bus is not available. Avoid codec read/write, until the
slimbus master in ADSP is up.

Digital microphone clock drive strength setting in the codec could
be platform dependent based on the type of microphone, etc. Add support
to make the DMIC clock drive strength configurable through device tree.
