0bf5a8be47 lis3lv02d: Add STMicroelectronics lis331dlh digital accelerometer
This patch adds support for lis331dlh digital accelerometer to the
lis3lv02d driver family. Adds ID field for detecting the lis331dlh
module, based on this ID field lis3lv02d driver will export the
lis331dlh module functionality.

863e99a8c1 Merge commit 'a849088aa1' from rmk/fixes into cleanup/io-pci
As Stephen Rothwell reports, a849088aa1 ("ARM: Fix ioremap() of
address zero") from the arm-current tree and commit c279443709 ("ARM:
Add fixed PCI i/o mapping") from the arm-soc tree conflict in
a nontrivial way in arch/arm/mm/mmu.c.

Rob Herring explains:
The PCI i/o reserved area has a dummy physical address of 0 and
needs to be skipped by ioremap searches. So we don't set
VM_ARM_STATIC_MAPPING to prevent matches by ioremap. The vm_struct
settings don't really matter when we do the real mapping of the
i/o space.

Since commit a849088aa1 is at the start of the fixes branch
in the arm tree, we can merge it into the branch that contains
the other ioremap changes.

62d6ae880e Honor state disabling in the cpuidle ladder governor
There are two cpuidle governors ladder and menu. While the ladder
governor is always available, if CONFIG_CPU_IDLE is selected, the
menu governor additionally requires CONFIG_NO_HZ.

A particular C state can be disabled by writing to the sysfs file
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuN/cpuidle/stateN/disable, but this mechanism
is only implemented in the menu governor. Thus, in a system where
CONFIG_NO_HZ is not selected, the ladder governor becomes default and
always will walk through all sleep states - irrespective of whether the
C state was disabled via sysfs or not. The only way to select a specific
C state was to write the related latency to /dev/cpu_dma_latency and
keep the file open as long as this setting was required - not very
practical and not suitable for setting a single core in an SMP system.

With this patch, the ladder governor only will promote to the next
C state, if it has not been disabled, and it will demote, if the
current C state was disabled.

Note that the patch does not make the setting of the sysfs variable
"disable" coherent, i.e. if one is disabling a light state, then all
deeper states are disabled as well, but the "disable" variable does not
reflect it. Likewise, if one enables a deep state but a lighter state
still is disabled, then this has no effect. A related section has been
added to the documentation.

0de4b95409 doc: getdelays.c: remember to close() socket on error in create_nl_socket()
If the call to setsockopt() fails in
Documentation/accounting/getdelays.c::create_nl_socket() we return -1
without closing the socket, thus leaking it when the 'fd' variable
goes out of scope.

Easily fixed by just jumping to the 'error' label instead of returning
since we do the proper cleanup there.

While I was there I noticed that the error message that is printet if
setsockopt() fails was broken over two lines - put that on a single
line so it is easier to grep for.

1046716368 tcp: TCP Fast Open Server - header & support functions
This patch adds all the necessary data structure and support
functions to implement TFO server side. It also documents a number
of flags for the sysctl_tcp_fastopen knob, and adds a few Linux
extension MIBs.

In addition, it includes the following:

1. a new TCP_FASTOPEN socket option an application must call to
supply a max backlog allowed in order to enable TFO on its listener.

2. A number of key data structures:
"fastopen_rsk" in tcp_sock - for a big socket to access its
request_sock for retransmission and ack processing purpose. It is
non-NULL iff 3WHS not completed.

"fastopenq" in request_sock_queue - points to a per Fast Open
listener data structure "fastopen_queue" to keep track of qlen (# of
outstanding Fast Open requests) and max_qlen, among other things.

"listener" in tcp_request_sock - to point to the original listener
for book-keeping purpose, i.e., to maintain qlen against max_qlen
as part of defense against IP spoofing attack.

3. various data structure and functions, many in tcp_fastopen.c, to
support server side Fast Open cookie operations, including
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_fastopen_key to allow manual rekeying.

d56631a66c net:stmmac: Remove bus_id from mdio platform data.
This patch removes bus_id from mdio platform data, The reason to remove
bus_id is, stmmac mdio bus_id is always same as stmmac bus-id, so there
is no point in passing this in different variable.
Also stmmac ethernet driver connects to phy with bus_id passed its
platform data.
So, having single bus-id is much simpler.

6c9ff979d1 tcp: Increase timeout for SYN segments
Commit 9ad7c049 ("tcp: RFC2988bis + taking RTT sample from 3WHS for
the passive open side") changed the initRTO from 3secs to 1sec in
accordance to RFC6298 (former RFC2988bis). This reduced the time till
the last SYN retransmission packet gets sent from 93secs to 31secs.

RFC1122 is stating that the retransmission should be done for at least 3
minutes, but this seems to be quite high.

"However, the values of R1 and R2 may be different for SYN
and data segments. In particular, R2 for a SYN segment MUST
be set large enough to provide retransmission of the segment
for at least 3 minutes. The application can close the
connection (i.e., give up on the open attempt) sooner, of
  course."

This patch increases the value of TCP_SYN_RETRIES to the value of 6,
providing a retransmission window of 63secs.

The comments for SYN and SYNACK retries have also been updated to
describe the current settings. The same goes for the documentation file
"Documentation/networking/ip-sysctl.txt".

backmerge now to avoid them.

Conflicts:

a7e546f175 Merge branch 'for-linus' of git://git.kernel.dk/linux-block
Pull block-related fixes from Jens Axboe:

 - Improvements to the buffered and direct write IO plugging from
   Fengguang.

 - Abstract out the mapping of a bio in a request, and use that to
provide a blk_bio_map_sg() helper. Useful for mapping just a bio
   instead of a full request.

 - Regression fix from Hugh, fixing up a patch that went into the
previous release cycle (and marked stable, too) attempting to prevent
   a loop in __getblk_slow().

 - Updates to discard requests, fixing up the sizing and how we align
them. Also a change to disallow merging of discard requests, since
that doesn't really work properly yet.

 - A few drbd fixes.

 - Documentation updates.

* 'for-linus' of git://git.kernel.dk/linux-block:
block: replace __getblk_slow misfix by grow_dev_page fix
drbd: Write all pages of the bitmap after an online resize
drbd: Finish requests that completed while IO was frozen
drbd: fix drbd wire compatibility for empty flushes
Documentation: update tunable options in block/cfq-iosched.txt
Documentation: update tunable options in block/cfq-iosched.txt
Documentation: update missing index files in block/00-INDEX
block: move down direct IO plugging
block: remove plugging at buffered write time
block: disable discard request merge temporarily
bio: Fix potential memory leak in bio_find_or_create_slab()
block: Don't use static to define "void *p" in show_partition_start()
  block: Add blk_bio_map_sg() helper
  block: Introduce __blk_segment_map_sg() helper
fs/block-dev.c:fix performance regression in O_DIRECT writes to md block devices

c2b5acc3a3 PCI: Remove the fakephp driver
The fakephp driver was scheduled for removal in 2011.

Fakephp presented /sys/bus/pci/slots/.../power files for every PCI
function. Writing "0" to one of these files logically removed the device
from the system. The PCI core now provides the same functionality with
/sys/bus/pci/devices/.../remove.
