We should not use net_device::dev_id to indicate the port number, as
this affects the way the local part of IPv6 addresses is normally
generated.
This field was intended for use where multiple devices may share a
single assigned MAC address and need to have different IPv6 addresses.
Siena's two ports each have their own MAC addresses.

This patch removes synchronize_rcu() from function
__team_queue_override_port_del(). That can be done because it is ok to
do list_del_rcu() and list_add_tail_rcu() on the same list_head member
without calling synchronize_rcu() in between. A bit of refactoring
needed to be done because INIT_LIST_HEAD needed to be removed (to not
kill the forward pointer) as well.

mt_free_input_name() was never called during .remove():
hid_hw_stop() removes the hid_input items in hdev->inputs, and so the
list is therefore empty after the call. In the end, we never free the
special names that has been allocated during .probe().
Restore the original name before freeing it to avoid acessing already
freed pointer.
This fixes a regression introduced by 49a5a827a ("HID: multitouch: append " Pen" to
the name of the stylus input")

As a followup to commit 409b545a ("netfilter: xt_TCPMSS: Fix violation
of RFC879 in absence of MSS option"), John Heffner points out that IPv6
has a higher MTU than IPv4, and thus a higher minimum MSS. Update TCPMSS
target to account for this, and update RFC comment.
While at it, point to more recent reference RFC1122 instead of RFC879.

team_port_enable() adds port to port_hashlist. Reader sees port
in team_get_port_by_index_rcu() and returns it, but
team_get_first_port_txable_rcu() tries to go through port_list, where the
port is not inserted yet -> NULL pointer dereference.
Fix this by reordering port_list and port_hashlist insertion.
Panic is easily triggeable when txing packets and adding/removing port
in a loop.

We currently allow for numa-node aware skb allocation only within the
fill_packet_ipv4() path, but not in fill_packet_ipv6(). Consolidate that
code to a common allocation helper to enable numa-node aware skb
allocation for ipv6, and use it in both paths. This also makes both
functions a bit more readable.

After IP route cache removal, multicast applications using
a lot of multicast addresses hit a O(N) behavior in ip_check_mc_rcu()
Add a per in_device hash table to get faster lookup.
This hash table is created only if the number of items in mc_list is
above 4.

With a thousand htb classes, est_timer() spends ~5 million cpu cycles
and throws out cpu cache, because each htb class has a default
rate estimator (est 4sec 16sec).
Most users do not use default rate estimators, so switch htb
to not setup ones.
Add a module parameter (htb_rate_est) so that users relying
on this default rate estimator can revert the behavior.

When a CAC is running and stop_ap is called (e.g. when hostapd is killed
while performing CAC), the CAC must be aborted immediately.
Otherwise ieee80211_stop_ap() will try to stop it when it's too late -
wdev->channel is already NULL and the abort event can not be generated.

There are some APs, notably 2G/3G/4G Wifi routers, specifically the
"Onda PN51T", "Vodafone PocketWiFi 2", "ZTE MF60" and a similar
T-Mobile branded device [1] that erroneously don't include all the
needed information in (re)association response frames. Work around
this by assuming the information is the same as it was in the
beacon or probe response and using the data from there instead.

Note that this requires marking the first ieee802_11_parse_elems()

Re-enable chipidea irq even if there's no role changing to do. This is
a problem since b183c19f ("USB: chipidea: re-order irq handling to avoid

Since usb phy code does return ERR_PTR() values, make sure that we don't
end up dereferencing them. This is a problem, for example, on platforms
that don't register a phy for chipidea since b7fa5c2a ("usb: phy: return
-ENXIO when PHY layer isn't enabled").

The MCAST queue should be enabled after DTIM only.
According to fw API, the MCAST must not be attached to any

Outputting formats of x86-tsc and counter should be a raw format, but after
applying the patch(2b6080f28c), the format was
changed to nanosec. This is because the global variable trace_clock_id was used.
When we use multiple buffers, clock_id of each sub-buffer should be used. Then,
this patch uses tr->clock_id instead of the global variable trace_clock_id.
[ Basically, this fixes a regression where the multibuffer code changed the
trace_clock file to update tr->clock_id but the traces still use the old
global trace_clock_id variable, negating the file's effect. The global
trace_clock_id variable is obsolete and removed. - SR ]

In two wiphy dump error cases, most often when the dump allocation
must be increased, the RTNL is leaked. This quickly results in a
complete system lockup. Release the RTNL correctly.

Users may want to send a frame on the current channel
without specifying it.
This is particularly useful for the correct implementation
of the IBSS/RSN support in wpa_supplicant which requires to
receive and send AUTH frames.
Make mgmt_tx pass a NULL channel to the driver if none has
been specified by the user.
