f5868f05dc MIPS: Replace CONFIG_MIPS64 and CONFIG_MIPS32_R2
Commit 597ce1723e ("MIPS: Support for 64-bit FP with O32 binaries")
introduced references to two undefined Kconfig macros. CONFIG_MIPS32_R2
should clearly be replaced with CONFIG_CPU_MIPS32_R2. And CONFIG_MIPS64
should be replaced with CONFIG_64BIT.

6eeefccdcf perf bench: Fix NULL pointer dereference in "perf bench all"
The for_each_bench() macro must check that the "benchmarks" field of a
collection is not NULL before dereferencing it because the "all"
collection in particular has a NULL "benchmarks" field (signifying that
it has no benchmarks to iterate over).

This fixes this NULL pointer dereference when running "perf bench all":

43f23a0660 pinctrl: tegra: add some missing Tegra114 entries
Add some missing pin and drive group definitions to the driver. These
are all defined in the TRM, but missing from the driver for some reason.

Fix a couple of mistakes in the drive group definitions.

Much of the diff to tegra114_groups[] is an indentation change due to one
of the new group names being long. git diff/show -w will highlight this.

0ffdd4b61b pinctrl: tegra: fix some mistakes in Tegra124
A couple of pairs of pin group names were swapped in the table. This
caused the wrong register to be programmed. Luckily, this had little
effect, if any, since the swapped pins were likely to be programmed
identically.

bfd66cc71a perf tools: Fix synthesizing mmaps for threads
Currently if a process creates a bunch of threads using pthread_create
and then perf is run in system_wide mode, the mmaps for those threads
are not captured with a synthesized mmap event.

The reason is those threads are not visible when walking the /proc/
directory looking for /proc/<pid>/maps files.  Instead they are
discovered using the /proc/<pid>/tasks file (which the synthesized comm
event uses).

This causes problems when a program is trying to map a data address to a
tid.  Because the tid has no maps, the event is dropped.  Changing the
program to look up using the pid instead of the tid, finds the correct
maps but creates ugly hacks in the program to carry the correct tid
around.

Fix this by moving the walking of the /proc/<pid>/tasks up a level (out
of the comm function) based on Arnaldo's suggestion.

Tweaked things a bit to special case the 'full' bit and 'guest' check.

Block a bunch of threads on a futex and requeue them on another, N at a
time.

This program is particularly useful to measure the latency of nthread
requeues without waking up any tasks -- thus mimicking a regular
futex_wait.

wakeups in non-error situations:  all waiters are queued and all wake
calls wakeup one or more tasks.

a043971141 perf bench: Add futex-hash microbenchmark
Introduce futexes to perf-bench and add a program that stresses and
measures the kernel's implementation of the hash table.

This is a multi-threaded program that simply measures the amount of
failed futex wait calls - we only want to deal with the hashing
overhead, so a negative return of futex_wait_setup() is enough to do the
trick.

An example run:

  $ perf bench futex hash -t 32
  Run summary [PID 10989]: 32 threads, each operating on 1024 [private] futexes for 10 secs.

0fae799e86 perf bench numa: Make no args mean 'run all tests'
If we call just:

  perf bench numa mem

it will present the same output as:

  perf bench numa mem -h

i.e. ask for instructions about what to run.

While that is kinda ok, using 'run all tests' as the default, i.e.
making 'no parms' be equivalent to:

  perf bench numa mem -a

Will allow:

  perf bench numa all

to actually do what is asked: i.e. run all the 'bench' tests, instead of
responding to that by asking what to do.

That, in turn, allows:

  perf bench all

to actually complete, for the same reasons.

And after that, the tests that come after that, and that at some point
hit a NULL deref, will run, allowing me to reproduce a recently reported
problem.

That when you have the needed numa libraries, which wasn't the case for
the reporter, making me a bit confused after trying to reproduce his
report.

So make no parms mean -a.

e9df9e2216 irqchip: sun4i: Don't ack IRQs > 0, fix acking of IRQ 0
All IRQs except for IRQ 0 seem to not need acking, so drop acking for them.

The ENMI needs to have the ack done *after* clearing the interrupt source,
otherwise we will get a spurious interrupt for each real interrupt.

So use the new IRQCHIP_EOI_THREADED flag for this in combination with
handle_fasteoi_irq. This uses a separate irq_chip struct for IRQ 0,
since we only want this behavior for IRQ 0.

56af0416b0 irqchip: sun4i: Fix irq 0 not working
SUN4I_IRQ_VECTOR_REG containing 0 can mean one of 3 things:

1) no more irqs pending
2) irq 0 pending
3) spurious irq

So if we immediately get a reading of 0, check the irq-pending reg
to differentiate between 2 and 3. We only do this once to avoid
the extra check in the common case of 1) hapening after having
read the vector-reg once.

328a4978df genirq: Add a new IRQCHIP_EOI_THREADED flag
The flag is necessary for interrupt chips which require an ACK/EOI
after the handler has run. In case of threaded handlers this needs to
happen after the threaded handler has completed before the unmask of
the interrupt.

The flag is only unseful in combination with the handle_fasteoi_irq
flow control handler.

It can be combined with the flag IRQCHIP_EOI_IF_HANDLED, so the EOI is
not issued when the interrupt is disabled or in progress.

847d7970de x86/amd/numa: Fix northbridge quirk to assign correct NUMA node
For systems with multiple servers and routed fabric, all
northbridges get assigned to the first server. Fix this by also
using the node reported from the PCI bus. For single-fabric
systems, the northbriges are on PCI bus 0 by definition, which
are on NUMA node 0 by definition, so this is invarient on most
systems.

Tested on fam10h and fam15h single and multi-fabric systems and
candidate for stable.

81827ed8d8 perf/x86/uncore: Fix missing end markers for SNB/IVB/HSW IMC PMU
This patch fixes a bug with the SNB/IVB/HSW uncore
mmeory controller support.

The PCI Ids tables for the memory controller were missing end
markers. That could cause random crashes on boot during or after
PCI device registration.

  Anyways:

   1) vmxnet3's netpoll doesn't perform the equivalent of an ISR, which
      is the correct implementation, like it should.  Instead it does
      something like a NAPI poll operation.  This leads to crashes.

   2) Segmentation of SKBs requires proper socket orphaning of the
      fragments, otherwise we might access stale state released by the
      release callbacks.

      This is a 5 patch fix, but the initial patches are giving
      variables and such significantly clearer names such that the
      actual fix itself at the end looks trivial.

   3) TCP control block release can deadlock if invoked from a timer on
      an already "owned" socket.  Fix from Eric Dumazet.

   4) In the bridge multicast code, we must validate that the
      destination address of general queries is the link local all-nodes

   5) The x86 BPF JIT support for negative offsets puts the parameter
      for the helper function call in the wrong register.  Fix from
      Alexei Starovoitov.

   6) The descriptor type used for RTL_GIGA_MAC_VER_17 chips in the
      r8169 driver is incorrect.  Fix from Hayes Wang.

   7) The xen-netback driver tests skb_shinfo(skb)->gso_type bits to see
      if a packet is a GSO frame, but that's not the correct test.  It
      should use skb_is_gso(skb) instead.  Fix from Wei Liu.

   8) Negative msg->msg_namelen values should generate an error, from
      Matthew Leach.

   9) at86rf230 can deadlock because it takes the same lock from it's
      ISR and it's hard_start_xmit method, without disabling interrupts
      in the latter.  Fix from Alexander Aring.

  10) The FEC driver's restart doesn't perform operations in the correct
      order, so promiscuous settings can get lost.  Fix from Stefan
      Wahren.

  11) Fix SKB leak in SCTP cookie handling, from Daniel Borkmann.

  12) Reference count and memory leak fixes in TIPC from Ying Xue and
      Erik Hugne.

  13) Forced eviction in inet_frag_evictor() must strictly make sure all
      frags are deleted, otherwise module unload (f.e.  6lowpan) can
      crash.  Fix from Florian Westphal.

  14) Remove assumptions in AF_UNIX's use of csum_partial() (which it
      uses as a hash function), which breaks on PowerPC.  From Anton
      Blanchard.

      The main gist of the issue is that csum_partial() is defined only
      as a value that, once folded (f.e.  via csum_fold()) produces a
      correct 16-bit checksum.  It is legitimate, therefore, for
      csum_partial() to produce two different 32-bit values over the
      same data if their respective alignments are different.

  15) Fix endiannes bug in MAC address handling of ibmveth driver, also
      from Anton Blanchard.

  16) Error checks for ipv6 exthdrs offload registration are reversed,
      from Anton Nayshtut.

  17) Externally triggered ipv6 addrconf routes should count against the
      garbage collection threshold.  Fix from Sabrina Dubroca.

  18) The PCI shutdown handler added to the bnx2 driver can wedge the
      chip if it was not brought up earlier already, which in particular
      causes the firmware to shut down the PHY.  Fix from Michael Chan.

  19) Adjust the sanity WARN_ON_ONCE() in qdisc_list_add() because as
      currently coded it can and does trigger in legitimate situations.

  20) BNA driver fails to build on ARM because of a too large udelay()
      call, fix from Ben Hutchings.

  21) Fair-Queue qdisc holds locks during GFP_KERNEL allocations, fix

We very often need to set or clear a bit in an MSR as a result of doing
some sort of a hardware configuration. Add generic versions of that
repeated functionality in order to save us a bunch of duplicated code in
the early CPU vendor detection/config code.

72a6a5df2c regmap: irq: Set data pointer only on regmap_add_irq_chip success
After setting the 'data' pointer (wchich is returned to the caller for
freeing later) the regmap_add_irq_chip() could still fail for various
reasons (ENOMEM, regmap_read or regmap_write failure). In such case the
memory under 'data' was freed in error path and error value was returned
but the 'data' variable was not changed.

This could lead to errors if the caller passed such 'data' to
regmap_del_irq_chip().

The 'data' pointer should be changed atomically from the caller
perspective - set it only on regmap_add_irq_chip() success.

a4e90bed51 ACPI / sleep: Add extra checks for HW Reduced ACPI mode sleep states
If the HW Reduced ACPI mode bit is set in the FADT, ACPICA uses
the optional sleep control and sleep status registers for making
the system enter sleep states (including S5), so it is not possible
to use system sleep states or power it off using ACPI if the HW
Reduced ACPI mode bit is set and those registers are not available.

For this reason, add a new function, acpi_sleep_state_supported(),
checking if the HW Reduced ACPI mode bit is set and whether or not
system sleep states are usable in that case in addition to checking
the return value of acpi_get_sleep_type_data() and make the ACPI
sleep setup routines use that function to check the availability of
system sleep states.

Among other things, this prevents the kernel from attempting to
use ACPI for powering off HW Reduced ACPI systems without the sleep
control and sleep status registers, because ACPI power off doesn't
have a chance to work on them.  That allows alternative power off
mechanisms that may actually work to be used on those systems.  The
affected machines include Dell Venue 8 Pro, Asus T100TA, Haswell
Desktop SDP and Ivy Bridge EP Demo depot.

ecab67015e ipv6: Avoid unnecessary temporary addresses being generated
tmp_prefered_lft is an offset to ifp->tstamp, not now. Therefore
age needs to be added to the condition.

Age calculation in ipv6_create_tempaddr is different from the one
in addrconf_verify and doesn't consider ADDRCONF_TIMER_FUZZ_MINUS.
This can cause age in ipv6_create_tempaddr to be less than the one
in addrconf_verify and therefore unnecessary temporary address to
be generated.
Use age calculation as in addrconf_modify to avoid this.

84fe61821e eth: fec: Fix lost promiscuous mode after reconnecting cable
If the Freescale fec is in promiscuous mode and network cable is
reconnected then the promiscuous mode get lost. The problem is caused
by a too soon call of set_multicast_list to re-enable promisc mode.
The FEC_R_CNTRL register changes are overwritten by fec_restart.

This patch fixes this by moving the call behind the init of FEC_R_CNTRL
register in fec_restart.

Successful tested on a i.MX28 board.
