Bug introduced in commit:
wireless: allow Atheros card to not depend on ath.ko
Commit in question changed CONFIG_ATH_COMMON to CONFIG_ATH_CARDS as
"Atheros card" indication in drivers/net/wireless/ath/Kconfig but it
is used also by drivers/net/wireless/Makefile
If there are only Atheros cards that do not require ATH_COMMON, whole
Makefile for Atheros cards was not executed; and as result, driver
won't compile in this case.
Change in CONFIG_ option name should be reflected in the
drivers/net/wireless/Makefile

In commit 'mac80211: support radiotap vendor namespace RX data'
new fields were added to 'struct ieee80211_rx_status' and those
fileds must be zeroed. However the rt2x00 driver stores driver
specific data in the cb array of the rx skbs, so the fields
might contain garbage and this can cause unexpected behaviour.
The rt2x00 driver from the compat-wireless-2012-12-01
tarball caused the following warning:

Commit 499744209b (tuntap: dont use skb after netif_rx_ni(skb))
introduced another bug.
skb_get_rxhash() needs to access the network header, and it was
set for us in netif_rx_ni().
We need to reset network header or else skb_flow_dissect() behavior
is out of control.

The new created file should not only inherit the NODATACOW flag, but also

The handling for directory crc hash overflows was fairly obscure,
split_leaf returns EOVERFLOW when we try to extend the item and that is
supposed to bubble up to userland. For a while it did so, but along the
way we added better handling of errors and forced the FS readonly if we
hit IO errors during the directory insertion.
Along the way, we started testing only for EEXIST and the EOVERFLOW case
was dropped. The end result is that we may force the FS readonly if we
catch a directory hash bucket overflow.
This fixes a few problem spots. First I add tests for EOVERFLOW in the
places where we can safely just return the error up the chain.
btrfs_rename is harder though, because it tries to insert the new
directory item only after it has already unlinked anything the rename
was going to overwrite. Rather than adding very complex logic, I added
a helper to test for the hash overflow case early while it is still safe
to bail out.
Snapshot and subvolume creation had a similar problem, so they are using
the new helper now too.

It turned out that Realtek codecs (ALC260, etc) with input amps in
audio-input widgets don't handle the multiple individual input amps.
Thus we need to set codec->single_adc_amp flag for them in general.

A connection's socket can close for any reason, independent of the
state of the connection (and without irrespective of the connection
mutex). As a result, the connectino can be in pretty much any state
at the time its socket is closed.
Handle those other cases at the top of con_work(). Pull this whole
block of code into a separate function to reduce the clutter.

ENOTSUPP is not a standard errno (it shows up as "Unknown error 524"
in an error message). This is what was getting produced when the
the local rbd code does not implement features required by a
discovered rbd image.
Change the error code returned in this case to ENXIO.

In __unregister_linger_request(), the request is being removed
from the osd client's req_linger list only when the request
has a non-null osd pointer. It should be done whether or not
the request currently has an osd.
This is most likely a non-issue because I believe the request
will always have an osd when this function is called.

There is several different SoCs sharing the sun5i codename: A10s, A12
and A13. Since there is enough differences to not consider those the
same SoCs, change a bit the naming scheme to reflect this.
Moreover, some boards like the olinuxino come in A10s and A13 variants,
which also share the same SoC codename.
So change the naming scheme to reflect both the codename and the market
name of the SoCs used in the dtsi and in the board files

With recent changes in the kernel, the MMCI and PL011 UART
drivers will autonomously request their pins to be muxed in,
so this machine-specific pin hogging code is just interfering
with the proper mechanism and causing regressions in the v3.8
kernel. Delete it and the problems go away.

There are SUNRPC clients, which program doesn't have pipe_dir_name. These
clients can be skipped on PipeFS events, because nothing have to be created or
destroyed. But instead of breaking in case of such a client was found, search
for suitable client over clients list have to be continued. Otherwise some
clients could not be covered by PipeFS event handler.

This patch removes the dependendency of VIDEO_AU0828 on VIDEO_V4L2 by
creating a new Kconfig option, VIDEO_AU0828_V4L2, which enables analog
video capture support and depends on VIDEO_V4L2 itself.
With VIDEO_AU0828_V4L2 disabled, the driver will only support digital
television and will not depend on the v4l2-core. With VIDEO_AU0828_V4L2
enabled, the driver will be built with the analog v4l2 support included.
By default, the VIDEO_AU0828_V4L2 option will be set to Y, so as to
preserve the original behavior.

RBD_MAX_SEG_NAME_LEN represents the maximum length of an rbd object
name (i.e., one of the objects providing storage backing an rbd
image).
Another symbol, MAX_OBJ_NAME_SIZE, is used in the osd client code to
define the maximum length of any object name in an osd request.
Right now they disagree, with RBD_MAX_SEG_NAME_LEN being too big.
There's no real benefit at this point to defining the rbd object
name length limit separate from any other object name, so just
get rid of RBD_MAX_SEG_NAME_LEN and use MAX_OBJ_NAME_SIZE in its
place.

If an osd has no requests and no linger requests, __reset_osd()
will just remove it with a call to __remove_osd(). That drops
a reference to the osd, and therefore the osd may have been free
by the time __reset_osd() returns. That function offers no
indication this may have occurred, and as a result the osd will
continue to be used even when it's no longer valid.
Change__reset_osd() so it returns an error (ENODEV) when it
deletes the osd being reset. And change __kick_osd_requests() so it
returns immediately (before referencing osd again) if __reset_osd()
returns *any* error.

In __unregister_request(), there is a call to list_del_init()
referencing a request that was the subject of a call to
ceph_osdc_put_request() on the previous line. This is not
safe, because the request structure could have been freed
by the time we reach the list_del_init().
Fix this by reversing the order of these lines.

There is no check in rbd_remove() to see if anybody holds open the
image being removed. That's not cool.
Add a simple open count that goes up and down with opens and closes
(releases) of the device, and don't allow an rbd image to be removed
if the count is non-zero.
Protect the updates of the open count value with ctl_mutex to ensure
the underlying rbd device doesn't get removed while concurrently
being opened.

The MIPI/HSP clocks were recently turned on in the i.MX51 clock tree.
It turned out that the system does not work properly when the MIPI/HSP
clocks are enabled, but the IPU clock is disabled. This happens when
IPU support is disabled. In this case the IPU clock gets disabled when
the clock framework turns off unused clock in a late_initcall. This
is broken since:

| The i.MX5 clk support has platform based clock bindings for the
| IPU. IPU support is devicetree only, so move them over to devicetree
| based bindings. Also, enable MIPI clocks which do not have a device
| associated with, but still need to be enabled to do graphics on
| i.MX51.
This patch fixes this by setting some reserved bits in the CCM as recommended
in the reference manual.

This patch check difference value between current voltage of battery and
desc->fullbatt_uV whether positve or negative number. If difference value
is negative number when current voltage of battery is larger than
desc->fullbatt_uV, charger-manager return immediately because battery is
fully charged.

This patch fix bug related to checking fully charged state of battery when
charger-manager call is_full_charged() function. After reading property of
charger/fuel-gauge through power_supply API, val.intval is more than 1.
So, is_full_charged() function always return true. If true, battery means
fully charged state.

When a thread exits mix it's cputime (userspace + kernelspace) to the entropy pool.
We don't know how "random" this is, so we use add_device_randomness that doesn't mess
with entropy count.

Andrea's autonuma-benchmark numa01 hits kernel BUG at huge_memory.c:1474!
in change_huge_pmd called from change_protection from change_prot_numa
from task_numa_work.
That BUG, introduced in the huge zero page commit cad7f613c4 ("thp:
change_huge_pmd(): make sure we don't try to make a page writable")
was trying to verify that newprot never adds write permission to an
anonymous huge page; but Automatic NUMA Balancing's 4b10e7d562 ("mm:
mempolicy: Implement change_prot_numa() in terms of change_protection()")
adds a new prot_numa path into change_huge_pmd(), which makes no use of
the newprot provided, and may retain the write bit in the pmd.
Just move the BUG_ON(pmd_write(entry)) up into the !prot_numa block.

Commit 281dfd0 removed __devexit from the exit function but left __exit_p in
place. This results in the following warning message if the module is built into
