45a7bd6359 serial: 8250: Support XR17V35x fraction divisor
The Exar XR17V35x family of UARTs have an additional fractional divisor
register (DLD) which was not being used. Calculate and set this
register for these devices to reduce their baud rate error.

e2613be509 n_tty: Fix stale echo output
When echoes cannot be flushed to output (usually because the tty
has no more write room) and L_ECHO is subsequently turned off, then
when L_ECHO is turned back on, stale echoes are output.

Output completed echoes regardless of the L_ECHO setting:
  1. before normal writes to that tty
  2. if the tty was stopped by soft flow control and is being
     restarted

Root cause:
the commit dropped uart_port->lock before calling tty_flip_buffer_push(), but in sirfsoc-uart,
sirfsoc_uart_pio_rx_chars() can be called by sirfsoc_rx_tmo_process_tl(). here uart_port->lock
has not been taken yet. so that caused unpaired lock/unlock.

Solution:
This patch is doing a quick fix for that, it adds spin_lock/unlock(&port->lock) protect to
sirfsoc_uart_pio_rx_chars() in sirfsoc_rx_tmo_process_tl() to keep spin_lock/unlock in pair.

333c085e4b serial: 8250_pci: unbreak last serial ports on NetMos 9865 cards
Aparently 9865 uses standard BAR encoding scheme (unlike 99xx cards).
Current pci_netmos_9900_setup() uses wrong BAR indices for the 9865 PCI
device, function 2. Using standard BAR indices makes all 6 ports work
for me. Thus disable the NetMos 9900 quirk for NetMos 9865 pci device.

For the reference, here is the relevant part of lspci for my device:

CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME is set. Compiling the driver with !CONFIG_PM_SLEEP causes

ce6acca65e serial: omap-serial: Move info message to probe function
Currently the info message about a missing wakeirq for uart is printed
every time the serial driver's startup function is called. This happens
multiple times and not just once.

This can cause lots of extra messages at boot time, slowing things down.  It is
caused by commit 2a0b965cfb (serial: omap: Add support for optional wake-up)
which was applied for v3.13-rc1.

This patch moves the infomessage to the probe function to display it
only once.

4196670be7 IB/mlx4: Don't allocate range of steerable UD QPs for Ethernet-only device
When the device has only Ethernet ports, don't try to allocate range
of steerable UD QPs since they aren't needed.  This fixes an issue
where mlx4 VFs tried to allocate a range of UD steerable QPs, but
failed to do so.

4640c7ee9b x86, smap: smap_violation() is bogus if CONFIG_X86_SMAP is off
If CONFIG_X86_SMAP is disabled, smap_violation() tests for conditions
which are incorrect (as the AC flag doesn't matter), causing spurious
faults.

The dynamic disabling of SMAP (nosmap on the command line) is fine
because it disables X86_FEATURE_SMAP, therefore causing the
static_cpu_has() to return false.

Found by Fengguang Wu's test system.

If SMAP support is not compiled into the kernel, don't enable SMAP in
CR4 -- in fact, we should clear it, because the kernel doesn't contain

205e2210da iwlwifi: disable TX AMPDU by default for iwldvm
NICs supported by iwldvm don't handle well TX AMPDU.
Disable it by default, still leave the possibility to
the user to force enable it with a debug parameter.

NICs supported by iwlmvm don't suffer from the same issue,
leave TX AMPDU enabled by default for these.

a9f180345f compiler/gcc4: Make quirk for asm_volatile_goto() unconditional
I started noticing problems with KVM guest destruction on Linux
3.12+, where guest memory wasn't being cleaned up. I bisected it
down to the commit introducing the new 'asm goto'-based atomics,
and found this quirk was later applied to those.

Unfortunately, even with GCC 4.8.2 (which ostensibly fixed the
known 'asm goto' bug) I am still getting some kind of
miscompilation. If I enable the asm_volatile_goto quirk for my
compiler, KVM guests are destroyed correctly and the memory is
cleaned up.

So make the quirk unconditional for now, until bug is found
and fixed.

c0b00a525c dma-buf: update debugfs output
Russell King observed 'wierd' looking output from debugfs, and also suggested
better ways of getting device names (use KBUILD_MODNAME, dev_name())

This patch addresses these issues to make the debugfs output correct and better
looking.

While at it, replace seq_printf with seq_puts to remove the checkpatch.pl
warnings.

789b5e0315 md/raid5: Fix CPU hotplug callback registration
Subsystems that want to register CPU hotplug callbacks, as well as perform
initialization for the CPUs that are already online, often do it as shown
below:

	get_online_cpus();

	for_each_online_cpu(cpu)
		init_cpu(cpu);

	register_cpu_notifier(&foobar_cpu_notifier);

	put_online_cpus();

This is wrong, since it is prone to ABBA deadlocks involving the
cpu_add_remove_lock and the cpu_hotplug.lock (when running concurrently
with CPU hotplug operations).

Interestingly, the raid5 code can actually prevent double initialization and
hence can use the following simplified form of callback registration:

	register_cpu_notifier(&foobar_cpu_notifier);

	get_online_cpus();

	for_each_online_cpu(cpu)
		init_cpu(cpu);

	put_online_cpus();

A hotplug operation that occurs between registering the notifier and calling
get_online_cpus(), won't disrupt anything, because the code takes care to
perform the memory allocations only once.

So reorganize the code in raid5 this way to fix the deadlock with callback
registration.

When an action is bonnd to a filter, there is no point to
remove it outside. Currently we just silently decrease the refcnt,

a5b5c958ff net_sched: act: refactor cleanup ops
For bindcnt and refcnt etc., they are common for all actions,
not need to repeat such operations for their own, they can be unified
now. Actions just need to do its specific cleanup if needed.

31fd8f5b89 dma: mv_xor: Silence a bunch of LPAE-related warnings
Enabling some of the mvebu platforms in the multiplatform config for ARM
enabled these drivers, which also triggered a bunch of warnings when LPAE
is enabled (thus making phys_addr_t 64-bit).

Most changes are switching printk formats, but also a bit of changes to what
used to be array-based pointer arithmetic that could just be done with the
address types instead.

3156b8eb9d bnx2x: utilize FW 7.8.19
This new firmware fixes following bugs:
     1. HW attention appears and traffic stops when iSCSI firmware tries to
        retransmit iSCSI login command when the iSCSI login is carrying data
        not aligned to 4-bytes.
     2. FCoE traffic fails to run when running in switch-independent multi-function
        mode and there's more than one interface supporting FCoE on a given port.
     3. While two ports are running FCoE with at least one of them has a function
        number (>1) on the same engine in a 4-port device a zeroed CQE is given,
        causing FCoE traffic to stop.

0155a27cda bnx2x: Fix bnx2x_panic_dump for VFs
bnx2x_panic_dump() prints all kind of driver information, including slowpath
information. Since VFs don't initialize slowpath information, a VF reaching
this flow will likely cause a panic in the system as it will access NULL
pointers.

3a3534ecf2 bnx2x: Revise IOV vlan/mac validation
There are several places in IOV related flows where PF needs to determine
whether a VF slowpath elements have already been configured (i.e., this
affect its ability to configure/remove classifications for the VF).

This patch changes the conditions for the validation and performs a cleaner
validation (e.g., by replacing several validations with a single one).

76ca70fabb bnx2x: [Debug] change verbosity of some prints
There are some debug prints (mostly iov/statistics related) which clobber
system logs whenever their verbosity level is set for an interface.

8a2fe56e88 net: phy: re-design phy_modes to be self-contained
of_get_phy_mode() uses a local array to map phy_interface_t values from
include/linux/net/phy.h to a string which is read from the 'phy-mode' or
'phy-connection-type' property. In preparation for exposing the PHY
interface mode through sysfs, perform the following:

- mode phy_modes from drivers/of/of_net.c to include/linux/phy.h such
  that it is right below the phy_interface_t enum
- make it a static inline function returning the string such that we can
  use it by just including include/linux/net/phy.h
- add a PHY_INTERFACE_MODE_MAX enum value to guard the iteration in
  of_get_phy_mode()

76a423a3f8 net: phy: allow driver to implement their own aneg_done
Some PHYs out there can be very quirky with respect to how they would
report the auto-negotiation is completed. Allow drivers to override the
generic aneg_done() implementation by providing their own.

Since not all drivers have been updated yet to use genphy_aneg_done() as
aneg_done() callback, we explicitely check that this callback is valid
before calling into it.
