6a51e93b2f mmc: mediatek: Fixed bug where clock frequency could be set wrong
[ Upstream commit 40ceda09c8c84694c2ca6b00bcc6dc71e8e62d96 ]

This patch can fix two issues:

Issue 1:
In previous code, div may be overflow when setting clock frequency
as f_min. We can use DIV_ROUND_UP to fix this boundary related
issue.

Issue 2:
In previous code, we can not set the correct clock frequency when
div equals 0xff.

e8dce7e56d mmc: card: Requeue the request if it fails during issuing
In the cmdq request issuing path, cq driver invokes ICE driver calls
to get the configuration for encrypting/decrypting the data requests.
The ice driver in-turn makes calls to secure world (TZ) which can
process only single task at a time. If TZ is busy in servicing
something else when ICE driver invokes it, ICE driver would return
-EBUSY to cmdq driver.

The requests which failed due to ice error are neither issued to h/w
nor errored out, so resulting in filesystem corruptions.

We must re-queue the requests which failed with -EBUSY error, so that
it will be re-issued again as very next request.

e773b0dbb9 mmc: core: Return card status if sdr104_wa is not present
On the targets in which sdr104 workaround is not needed, simply return
card status from mmc_recovery_fallback_lower_speed() call.

If any platform uses the tray for SD card, then even if the tray is
inserted without sd card, card-detect gpio pulled low. And in card
removal detection path we end-up in calling
mmc_recovery_fallback_lower_speed(). If we don't return error or card
status it may treat errors are due to CRC errors and try to fall-back to
lower speed mode instead of marking the card as removed.

a3e021504f mmc: s3cmci: include linux/interrupt.h for tasklet_struct
[ Upstream commit e1c6ec26b853e9062f0b3daaf695c546d0702953 ]

I got this new build error on today's linux-next

drivers/mmc/host/s3cmci.h:69:24: error: field 'pio_tasklet' has incomplete type
  struct tasklet_struct pio_tasklet;
drivers/mmc/host/s3cmci.c: In function 's3cmci_enable_irq':
drivers/mmc/host/s3cmci.c:390:4: error: implicit declaration of function 'enable_irq';did you mean 'enable_imask'? [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration]

While I haven't found out why this happened now and not earlier, the
solution is obvious, we should include the header that defines
the structure.

63d7fc8afd mmc: core: Return error if fallback to lower speed mode fails
If there are continuous data-CRC errors in higher speed modes (SDR104
mode), then driver fallbacks to lower speed mode. But if at all it
fails to fallback to lower speed mode, then that error should be
propagated to the caller so that caller will handle it appropriately.

Without this change, sometime while processing card removal event,
driver fails to detect card removal and treats card as present
eventhough its removed.

e2df383e0f mmc: core: add power on to SD card detect
In commit aaf56cab21 ("mmc: core: power off host if
SD card resume fails"), the mmc host is powered off if
SD card init failed during resume. However, the power
is not turned on before next time SD card detect.
It would not cause crash or malfunction but lead to
too many warnings. This change adds power on to
function mmc_sd_detect to make sure the power is on
before send commands to SD card.

1b760fdad9 mmc: sdio: fix alignment issue in struct sdio_func
[ Upstream commit 5ef1ecf060f28ecef313b5723f1fd39bf5a35f56 ]

Certain 64-bit systems (e.g. Amlogic Meson GX) require buffers to be
used for DMA to be 8-byte-aligned. struct sdio_func has an embedded
small DMA buffer not meeting this requirement.
When testing switching to descriptor chain mode in meson-gx driver
SDIO is broken therefore. Fix this by allocating the small DMA buffer
separately as kmalloc ensures that the returned memory area is
properly aligned for every basic data type.

6cc74e75a0 mmc: block: Unhalt the command queue before releasing mmc host
In the IOCTL path, the command queue is halted before servicing
the ioctl requests. Once the ioctl request is serviced, the ioctl
context releases mmc host and then unhalts the controller. This can
cause race conditions where mmc driver would end up in a bad state.
If another context B, which wants to send a legacy command, comes up
between the time ioctl releases the host and unhalts the controller.
Then the context B will see that cmdq is already halted and will prepare
a legacy command. Once context B sends the legacy command, the ioctl
context may unhalt the cmdq. This will mask the legacy interrupts and
context B will never receive interrupts for the command it sent.

To prevent this, unhalt the controller before the ioctl context releases
the host.

3cded02c61 mmc: sdhci: Add logs when ignoring timeout due to quirk
Due to some quirks, hardware timeout interrupts of commands with R1B
response get ignored. This is required as some commands take more time
to complete than what hardware controller can wait. But when actual
hardware timeout occurs due to faulty card or any other issue, the
issue will appear as software timeout and the information that a
hardware timeout occurred will be lost. So added logs through
ratelimited prink and ring buffer so that the information will be
present when debugging is required.

28f9652f80 mmc: core: Ignore bus resume flags when card removal event is detected
Ignore bus resume flags in the resume path if there is an outstanding card
removal event.

With deferred resume feature enabled, we don't check for card presence
(i.e., mmc_detect_change) in the resume path. This is to improve the resume
latency. If at all card is removed during suspend state, in some cases we
may not detect the card removal immediately but only when a request was
issued to it.

In some scenarios, card removal in suspend state leading to card suspend to
fail (since the card is removed) and which is causing system suspend to
fail. And we don't try to resume card because of deferred resume it
leading to system suspend to fail continuously.

To fix this scenario, ignore the bus resume flag in the resume path only if
there an outstanding card removal event. By doing so, we are ensuring that
the driver would check for card presence (mmc_detect_change) in the resume
path (mmc_pm_notify) and it will mark the card as removed if it finds the
card is no more present.

c9e2e4429d mmc: sdhci-msm: Put platform suspend in late suspend list
Since there is no longer a parent child relation between the platform
sdhc device and the sdhc card, there is a possibility that the mmc card
suspend can be executed after sdhc platform suspend is done. This can
happen if async suspend of mmc card is enabled. Suspending of mmc card
requires platform device to be on and platform device suspend should
occur after mmc card suspend. To ensure this ordering in system suspend
case, let the card suspend in the regular suspend phase and make the
platform device suspend in the late suspend phase of system suspend.
