Generally, during card suspend we call mmc_power_off
and disable controller clocks.
Now consider below sequence of events :
suspend -> resume -> suspend.
1) During first platform suspend, mmc_power_off will
be called and clocks would be disabled.
2) As a part of platform resume, we enable controller
clocks and defer card resume when
MMC_BUSRESUME_NEEDS_RESUME flag is set.
3) During next suspend we check if card is already
suspended (i.e MMC_BUSRESUME_NEEDS_RESUME is set)
and return without doing actual suspend (where we
call mmc_power_off and disable controller clocks).
So in this scenario, controller clocks will remain ON
even though card state is SUSPENDED.
Fix this by disabling controller clocks during suspend
if controller clock was ON.

According to the code the intention is to append 8 SCK cycles
instead of 4 at end of a MMC_STOP_TRANSMISSION command. But this
will never happened because it's an AC command not an ADTC command.
So fix this by moving the statement into the right function.

This provides module/cmdline parameter for disabling cmdq.
This may be required sometimes for testing cmdq v/s non-cmdq
mode for performance or other stability testing.
Pass cmdline parameter as (sdhci-msm.nocmdq=1) for disabling
cmdq via cmdline.

During error scenario, if interrupt status of CQ controller is cleared
before halting the controller, the CQ controller can send commands to
card in the time delay between clearing of interrupt and halting. The
response of card to these commands can overwrite the error information
stored in Response Arg register. So, if an error is detected, the CQ
must be halted first and then the interrupt must be cleared.

Clearing the tuning bits should reset the tuning circuit. However there is
more to do. Reset the command and data lines for good measure, and then
for eMMC ensure the card is not still trying to process a tuning command by
sending a stop command.
Note the JEDEC eMMC specification says the stop command (CMD12) can be used
to stop a tuning command (CMD21) whereas the SD specification is silent on
the subject with respect to the SD tuning command (CMD19). Considering that
CMD12 is not a valid SDIO command, the stop command is sent only when the
tuning command is CMD21 i.e. for eMMC. That addresses cases seen so far
which have been on eMMC.
Note that this replaces the commit fe5fb2e3b58f ("mmc: sdhci: Reset cmd and
data circuits after tuning failure") which is being reverted for v4.9+.

The legacy interrupts are enabled as part of CQE halt. But there could
be few cases, where halt fails. In those cases, CQE is disabled without
enabling legacy interrupts. Without this we cannot send any commands
like status CMD13 in legacy mode as part of error handling work.

There could be cases where CQE halt might fail and in which
case, CQE gets disabled as part of error handling.
In this case, !mmc_host_halt() will be true and the commands
sent in legacy mode are getting software request timeout errors
as they are getting handled as cmdq irq.
Hence, add !mmc_host_cq_disable() check as well in addition to
!mmc_host_halt() in sdhci_irq() before considering it as a
cmdq irq.

An interrupt may occur right after devm_request_irq() is called and
prior to the spinlock initialization, leading to a kernel oops,
as the interrupt handler uses the spinlock.
In order to prevent this problem, move the spinlock initialization
prior to requesting the interrupts.

Then regs->start should be referred to NULL Pointer.

Accesses of the rtsx sdmmc's parent device, which is the rtsx usb device,
must be done when it's runtime resumed. Currently this isn't case when
changing the led, so let's fix this by adding a pm_runtime_get_sync() and
a pm_runtime_put() around those operations.

The rtsx_usb_sdmmc driver may bail out in its ->set_ios() callback when no
SD card is inserted. This is wrong, as it could cause the device to remain
runtime resumed when it's unused. Fix this behaviour.

Potentially overflowing expression 1000000 * data->timeout_clks with
type unsigned int is evaluated using 32-bit arithmetic, and then used
in a context that expects an expression of type unsigned long long.

sdhci probe uses sleep calls, which stalls kernel
booting until sleep completes.
So, make sdhci probe as async probe to unblock
the kernel booting, and the probe is scheduled
asynchronously.

For SDCC version 5.0.0, MCI registers are
removed from SDCC interface and some registers
are moved to HC. This change is to support MCI
register removal for msmfalcon.
New compatible string "qcom,sdhci-msm-v5" is
added for msmfalcon to support this change.

As reported by Dan in his report in [1], there is a potential NULL
pointer derefence if these conditions are met :
- there is no platform_data provided, ie. host->pdata = NULL
Fix this by only using the platform data ro_invert when a gpio for
read-only is provided by the platform data.
This doesn't appear yet as every pxa board provides a platform_data, and
calls pxa_set_mci_info() with a non NULL pointer.

The dw_mmc driver stores the physical address of the MMIO registers
in a pointer, which requires the use of type casts, and is actually
broken if anyone ever has this device on a 32-bit SoC in registers
above 4GB. Gcc warns about this possibility when the driver is built
with ARM LPAE enabled:

The version 3.00 SDHCI spec. was a bit unclear about the
required data alignment for 64-bit DMA, whereas the version
4.10 spec. uses different language and indicates that only
4-byte alignment is required rather than the 8-byte alignment
currently implemented. That make no difference to SD and EMMC
which invariably transfer data in sector-aligned blocks.
However with SDIO, it results in using more DMA descriptors
than necessary. Theoretically that slows DMA slightly although
DMA is not the limiting factor for throughput, so there is no
discernable impact on performance. Nevertheless, the driver
should follw the spec unless there is good reason not to, so
this patch corrects the alignment criterion.
There is a more complicated criterion for the DMA descriptor
table itself. However the table is allocated by dma_alloc_coherent()
which allocates pages (i.e. aligned to a page boundary).
For simplicity just check it is 8-byte aligned, but add a comment
that some Intel controllers actually require 8-byte alignment
even when using 32-bit DMA.

Baytrail eMMC/SD/SDIO host controllers have been known to
hang. A change to a hardware setting has been found to
reduce the occurrence of such hangs. This patch ensures
the correct setting.
This patch applies cleanly to v4.4+. It could go to
earlier kernels also, so I will send backports to the
stable list in due course.

'commit 34e4cf13f7 ("mmc: core: Update HS400 timing
mode before performing tuning")' updates timing mode
to HS400 before tuning in mmc_hs200_tuning.
On 4.4 kernel, there is check added to bail out from
execute_tuning if HS400 tuning is done in HS200 mode.
Adding check to avoid bailing out and allow
execute_tuning if POST_TUNING capability is set.

When the regulators are not managed by SDHCI host driver (i.e.,
when host->vmmc and host->vmmcq are absent), get the regulator
current capabilities through a new host op get_current_limit().

This is happending when eMMC initialization is failing in HS400 mode.
sdhci_msm_set_clock() might be accessing the card pointer after it
was deallocated, this change adds the safety checks to avoid NULL
dereference.

CRC error handling), cmd INDEX and END bit error also needs
to handle the same way as in mentioned patch.
So adding cmd index and end bit error case to it.

When we get a response CRC error on a command, it means that the
response we received back from the card was not correct. It does not
mean that the card did not receive the command correctly. If the
command is one which initiates a data transfer, the card can enter the
data transfer state, and start sending data.
Moreover, if the request contained a data phase, we do not clean this
up, and this results in the driver triggering DMA API debug warnings,
and also creates a race condition in the driver, between running the
finish_tasklet and the data transfer interrupts, which can trigger a
"Got data interrupt" state dump.
Fix this by handing a response CRC error slightly differently: record
the failure of the data initiating command, but allow the remainder of
the request to be processed normally. This is safe as core MMC checks
the status of all commands and data transfer phases of the request.
If the card does not initiate a data transfer, then we should time out
according to the data transfer parameters.

The CDR is supposed to be enabled only for read commands but
since there is no way it can be done in CQ, disable it completely
in CQ mode.
The CDR gets enabled by default whenever tuning is done in legacy
mode. Hence, make sure to disable it when CQ is enabled or when
CQ is unhalted.
Also note that CDR plays a role only in these bus speed modes -
HS200 and HS400 with enhanced strobe disabled.

There are issues with ADMA when used with ICE enabled for tuning
commands. As a workaround, use PIO mode for these commands by
enabling quirk SDHCI_QUIRK2_USE_PIO_FOR_EMMC_TUNING .

Some controllers have an issue using ADMA for tuning commands.
Add a quirk - SDHCI_QUIRK2_USE_PIO_FOR_EMMC_TUNING to use PIO
mode for tuning commands on those host controllers.

Some controllers need SW to compare the data received
from the card for a tuning command. Add a quirk for
such non standard controllers so that they can read
the data from the controller using ADMA/PIO and do the
tuning sequence from SW to determine the appropriate phase.

This is needed to set the dma mode for CQ transfers. The dma mode
may be changed by the commands sent in legacy mode (like tuning
which uses FIFO mode).

Some of the transfer parameters like DMA mode will be changed
only when CQ is in HALT state to send some legacy commands like
tuning etc.
Also, fix a typo with set_transfer_params() host op.

Data CRC errors are observed for the data commands that are
sent immediately after tuning in HS200 mode with CQ enabled but
in HALT state. This is because tuning commands change the block
size to 128 bytes from the default 512 bytes.

Fix the below reported issues by source code analyzer.
1) Pointer 'ext_csd' returned from call to function 'mmc_get_ext_csd'
may be NULL and will be dereferenced at ext_csd[EXT_CSD_CMDQ] in
mmc_test_awake_ext_csd(), causing NUll pointer derefernce.
2) Array 'sdhci_slot' of size 2 may use index value(s) -1 as below,
when ret = 0.
sdhci_slot[ret-1] = msm_host;
3) Variable 'host->lock' locked ,And was not unlocked when below
condition occurs in sdhci_irq().

This reverts 'commit d49beb9a2a71 ("mmc: sdhci: Panic
after SDHC registers")'. As CMDQ is quite stable now,
removing a BUG_ON which was added internally to crash
system on error.

The commit '6e2df8c0e' incorrectly sets this capability.
This needs to be set only if the host is capable of disabling
both vcc and vccq. For SDHCI MSM host controllers only vcc
is disabled during suspend. Hence, remove this capability
for MSM hosts.
